2. Order Cancellation

2.1 Before Production

Orders may be cancelled without penalty if cancellation is requested before production begins. This typically applies to:

  • Standard products with no custom specifications
  • Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement
  • Orders where production has not yet commenced

2.2 During Production

Once production has begun, cancellation may be subject to charges for:

  • Materials already processed
  • Production time invested
  • Setup and preparation costs

2.3 Custom Formulations

Custom formulations and OEM products cannot be cancelled once development or production has commenced, as these are specifically created for your requirements.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Quality Issues

H J Silicone Industries will provide full refunds or replacements for products that:

  • Do not meet agreed specifications
  • Are defective due to manufacturing errors
  • Are damaged during shipping (if shipped by H J)
  • Fail to perform as described in technical specifications

3.2 Non-Quality Issues

Refunds for non-quality related issues are subject to the following conditions:

  • Products must be returned in original, unopened condition
  • Return request must be made within 7 days of delivery
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • Restocking fee may apply (up to 15% of order value)

4. Refund Process

4.1 Request Submission

To request a refund or return, customers must:

  1. Contact H J Silicone Industries within the specified timeframe
  2. Provide order number and reason for return/refund
  3. Submit photographs if claiming product defects
  4. Obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

4.2 Return Authorization

H J Silicone Industries will:

  • Review the refund request within 2 business days
  • Issue RMA number if approved
  • Provide return shipping instructions
  • Specify any applicable fees or conditions

4.3 Product Return

Returned products must:

  • Be shipped within 14 days of RMA issuance
  • Include RMA number on packaging
  • Be properly packaged to prevent damage
  • Include original documentation and certificates

5. Refund Processing

5.1 Timeline

Once returned products are received and inspected:

  • Quality issues: Refund processed within 5 business days
  • Non-quality issues: Refund processed within 10 business days
  • Refunds will be issued via original payment method

5.2 Refund Amount

The refund amount will be:

  • Full amount for quality-related issues
  • Order amount minus restocking fees for non-quality issues
  • Excluding original shipping costs (unless quality issue)
  • Excluding any custom development costs

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Custom formulations and OEM products
  • Products used or installed
  • Products past their shelf life
  • Products damaged by customer misuse
  • Products returned without RMA authorization
  • Consulting and technical services

7. Warranty Claims

H J Silicone Industries products come with the following warranty:

  • Standard products: 12 months from date of shipment
  • Custom products: 6 months from date of shipment
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear

8. Force Majeure

H J Silicone Industries is not responsible for delays or inability to process refunds due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government regulations
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Pandemic-related restrictions

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes regarding refunds or returns:

  • Customers should first contact H J Silicone Industries customer service
  • Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiations
  • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to arbitration in Mumbai, India

10. Policy Updates

H J Silicone Industries reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
